Most people have 'cover stories' - things they are willing to tell themselves that create a sense of inevitability about feeling the way they do. This 'cover story,' while sometimes painful to admit, may be concealing an even more painful truth that the conscious self is not yet willing to recognize. The process of awakening and purification helps emotional states to become more transparent. It gives us greater access to truth and the means to pursue it. Read Article
