Faith Strengthening Activities
There is a time when a soul must learn to tap into the resources of its own inner being. God is a loving God, nurturing and caring for His children, and shepherding them on the spiritual path of life.At certain points in the soul's development, His love provides the opportunity to develop new inner resources, resources that the soul did not know that it had. Often, but not always, it is challenge, adversity or difficulty that provide the testing ground for these new qualities to emerge.
Like a loving parent, helping a child to walk for the first time, God withdraws some of the supports that were present during earlier phases of development, in order to bring the soul to a new level of being.
So often at these times, the soul cries out in pain God, why have you left me? when in fact in His infinite love and mercy, He is deeply present, deeply knowing of each soul's capacity, lovingly guiding each of His children Home.
Honoring The Process
Todays guidance from the tarot is the three of cups, a symbol that encourages us to honor the process of our emotional life. Allow feelings to surface, honor feelings of grief and loss, holding these emotions with God, with the understanding that we are not alone in what we are going through. Sharing what we are going through with trusted friends will help us to move forward.Received with gratitude and love,
