A Song of Prayer

We lift our voices to You, Oh Lord.
We open our prayers to Your listening Heart.
There are so many of Your beloved people
who cry out in their need for Your Presence.
They long to feel Your nearness
during times of stress and pain,
during healing and recovery,
and in times of choice,
as we seek answers
for the unknown path before us.
May it be illumined by Your Light
Oh God, bless us with Your flowing grace.
Open our awareness to know
that every voice that is lifted in prayer
is welcomed and embraced by You.
Give us a sense of belonging
as we discover our larger family
in the beauty of the
Love that knows no ending.
Grant us that blessed assurance
to know that we are never alone
when we turn to You.
Thank you for hearing us,
for walking with us through it all.
May we find holy rest in the expanse
of Your Love each night,
and arise with new hope each day.
Oh Lord, we love You so,
and we thank You for hearing
our longings and our prayers,
and for opening the way to discover
our Oneness in You.
