Once i was lost and drowning in sin
when Jesus reached down and took my hand
pulled me out of the myrie clay
dusted me off and started me on my way
on a journey i did not know
but i'll be there waiting when you go
and i'll always be walking by your side
but if you should stumble trip or fall
i will always be listening for your call
