Help me find a way to rebuild my house

one year ago my house caught on fire, yes i had house insurance but it was in the other person's name on the deed of the house she died 2 weeks before the fire, the fire was caused by old electrical in the house. next month it will be a year since the fire. at first i seen different lawyers and everyone told me either that i could not do nothing or i had no case finally i had a lawyer who took the case who told me not to worry, and that he wouldn't charge me very much. well the insurance company has made an offer they will pay the house off cause there was a mortgage on it in the other person's name not mine, but that has to be paid off, that's okay i expect that, but now the lawyer is going to charge me the full amount which after that i'm left with the house, a house that is burned inside real bad and no money to even rebuild. the lawyer's secretary told me well at least you have a house that is paid off, great. i'm so tired of people telling me one thing and doing another, i'm at my wits end i don't know what else to do,i need you lord jesus to help me, be strong for me cause i have no more strength anymore. I live in charlotte Michigan
