Help me to be forgiven

I have so much guilt and sadness in my heart. I have done things I am not proud of. Please let those who I have hurt forgive me and for me to forgive myself. I am fighting addiction and would appreciate your prayers. I have never really been close with the Jesus. I know he is my savior and I am working to become the Christian I need to be. Pray that I may open my heart to him truly for the first time. Please Lord give the strength to overcome my addictions. God Bless and Thank you!
