I GIVE YOU
I give you the sun,
and I give you the rain.
I give you the air to breathe,
and I give you the grain.
I give you the mountains to climb,
and I give you the sea to explore.
I give you words to rhyme,
and I give you lions that roar.
But you never look up once to thank me
for the blessings I have given thee.
And you're always much too busy to think of me,
yet I love you and will wait for you,
pray you'll come to see.
I give you the birds that fly,
and I give you the earth and sky.
I give flowers that bloom,
and I give you the stars and moon.
