Introspective
by Frank C
(Bluffton, S.C.)
We are what is left after what is said about us is subtracted.
I am what is left after what I think about me is subtracted.
I have trouble being honest about myself. Honestly, I do!
Ego is like the fisherman's catch. It seems to enlarge with the passage of time.
With each passing day I seem to be more stuck on myself. Or am I just more aware of what has always been true?
Healers are rarely found among those who lecture or advise but are often found among those who listen.
I will be still and listen to the wisdom and the joy of the Spirit.
