My dead boyfriend coming to me crying

I had a dream the other night about my boyfriend that pasted away match 2010 of a drug overdose. And I keep having strange dreams about him. This time I can't shake it. He was his face so clearly like he was laying on top of me just looking at me, then his eyes started to water and he turned his head and tears started streaming down his face. I woke up crying and can't stop. I can't get this feeling to go away. I feel like I need to know why he was crying. It's really bothering me. Can someone please give me a little insight please.
