Prayer for Custody Hearing for our Granddaughter

In October this past year, my daughter, who has made many poor choices in her life, had to spend 30 days in jail. We told her over and over prior to going to jail to put into writing her wishes that my husband and I have custody of our 4-year old granddaughter. My daughter did not do that and the child was taken from us and placed with her biological father. The father is a drug abused and has immediate family that has been registered as child molesters. My granddaughter is in danger. She visit us every two weeks and always comes very hungry, dirty and has these episodes of terror and unexplained bruising, etc. My husband and I have petitioned the court to have the child placed with us. We can give her an excellent home,counseling, church and a safe loving home. We have a court hearing on May 8th, 2008. Please pray that the court has the wisdom to finally protect this little angel and give her to a home where she is loved beyond reason.
