Prayer of a Hopeful Heart

Dear God, I have been praying for Eric to come back, not because of the almost 8 years we had, but because, I want to be better this time. I know I am most unworthy of this petition, but I also know that this should not discourage me, since you are the God of mercy, and you will only have to will it, and my prayer will be granted. Mold me Father God, to be the woman whom you want Eric to have for the rest of his life, mold me to be the woman you envisioned me to be, that I may be worthy of his return...and that this time, you will be at the center, reuniting us in love... please Father God, please look down with mercy. Amen
