Seeking Healing

Today was particularly hard. I was an emotional wreck. My emotions and anger seems to be spreading to my loved ones. It is terrible and I am thinking of seeking therapy. Are there any therapists that do not automatically suggest or prescribe medication? I don't believe i need meds..I think I need someone to help me figure out the roots of these emotions and why I react the way i do. I am ready for change and healing. I would consider natural medicine..but I don't know if anyone in that field would accept OHP. Thank you once again for your thoughts and prayers. Donna

Hi Donna,

Yes, there are several options for healing that do not prescribe medication. Psychiatrists use medication but other therapists likepsychologists or holistically oriented therapist use a variety of methods including diet, herbs and bodywork.

I did a search on Google for "psychotherapist oregon city oregon" and found a listing of practitioners. The results page is here.
