pulled a dead women from river pool

in the the dream i was walking with some one not sure who a male it was by the way i am malethen a dog i had in the dream kept putting its head underwater as to point there was something there,then i made the discovery a women partially clothed dead in the water,i pulled her out held her lovingly so she couldn't be hurt anymore and i cried a lot then told the chap to call police,whats the meaning of this dream please.
