Question About Disturbing Dream

I had a dream last night which was so surreal. In reality, im having a argument with two of my close friends, whom which one isnt supposed to be angry with me and which another deserves to be angry. In my dream, i dreamt that both of them hated me and i was feeling so miserable that i wanted to commit suicide because they laughed at me and told me how much of a loser i was and how it ruined their reputation being friends with me. I cried in my dream. And when i woke up, i was crying too. Can someone please tell me what this dream is about? They say dreams are the opposite of reality, is it true? Big thanks.
