ten thousand hours lifes lessons learned
the sun beats down now hear the birds
in timeless home i seek the light
five thousand hours in every night
socks sit drying on the line
shadows on the roof tops lie
my happiness is tied to them
for now the day turns into night
and shadows stretch far out
for they rely upon the day
five thousand hours away
