talking to someone in your dream

I have had dreams of my boyfriend talking to me and I would be half asleep and half awake and I would think things to him in my sleep and he would answer me out loud while he was sleeping next to me. It has happened two nights in a row and I wonder what that is all about. I told him what happened and he does not remember answering me what I was thinking to him in my mind.
