water dream

I dream often that whatever the circumstance is of the dream I feel like I 'm walking through water all the time, like when you try run through a swimming pool, wadding pushing against the sides. I could be anywhere but as soon as I need to run somewhere ( lots of running and chasing in my dreams , me after something not something after me, but often this inability to get where I'm going quickly. Like in water. Any ideas to what they may mean?
